In March 1991, Nick Staveley Stanley became the first-ever professional photographer to qualify for the highest status of "Fellowship" (FMPA) by examination! The MPA remains the largest body of Professional Photographers in the UK to this day and, of its 2000+ members, there are generally only about 50 qualified as Fellows by examination of their work by a panel of the UK's acknowledged leading professional photographers! That alone, should convey to you the quality of his image-making!
