Fees are negotiable according to your status and requirements (if you are a student or unemployed it will be less) but my typical hourly rate is standard with other UK educational tutors at £30 per hour.
The cost of individual image critique, sent by email attachment, is £10 per individual image or £6 per image if 3 or more are forwarded at the same time.
About Nick.......
Nick Staveley Stanley in 2008.
Nick is your tutor...........................vastly experienced but friendly, approachable, constructive and encouraging , he is now 58 years old and retired from full-time photography - having sold his commercial photography business which he ran successfully with many top UK clients including Tesco plc, Sainsburys plc and HM Government!
He now spends his time upon voluntary charity work, photographic tuition, stock picture library photography, writing articles for publication and is also President of a very successful racing championship!
Nick was formally educated in photographic sciences and art at the Faculty of Communication, University of Westminster before moving into photo journalism and then commercial photography.
Between 1986 and 1993 he won 37 professional photographic awards and, at 39 years old in 1991, he became the youngest-ever "Fellow" of the MPA to qualify by examination having already graduated through his Licentiate and Associate levels! - (The MPA is the largest purely professional photographic association in the UK). At that time came his highest accolade when he was invited to exhibit his "Nudes in Landscape" work at the World Council of Professional Photography Exhibition in the USA.
Nick has taught photography, as a part-time lecturer, at Coventry Technical College and The Woodlands School, Coventry. He has also lectured to other professional photographers all over the UK and Europe as well as judging many professional examination panels and both professional and amateur photographic competitions.
His work has sold world-wide through the London Picture Agents, Rex Features and he has broadcast his photographic advice in programmes on both BBC local and national radio and in Canada with CBC.
Nick is willing to pass his image-making skills on to you!
