Both copyright and ownership of all images posted upon this website will normally remain with the photographer; NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY.
Images may be purchased for one-off usage in publications but they do not belong to the publisher and may be published or sold elsewhere by NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY.
Images purchased for one-off usage may not be passed onto third parties by the purchasor. This will be regarded as a breach of copyright.
However this means that the one-off publication price is lower!
Clients may negotiate prices for sole ownership of images that have not yet been published but this will be considerably higher than the one-off usage/publication fee.
It should be noted that Breach of Copyright is a criminal, not a civil, offence in the UK.
It is a Breach of Copyright to publish a photograph without prior permission from the owner of the copyright, to fail to pay for publication of an image or to fail to negotiate agreement to publish an image with the owner of that image.
NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY guarantees that he is the sole owner and copyright holder of all images placed upon this website (http://www.pick-nick.biz/) and that he has the full legal right to sell these images as he sees fit without objection from third parties. NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY further guarantees that any/all identifiable human subjects, appearing within these photographs, have given due permission for their photographs to be published.
- Clients will usually obtain and pay for images in accordance with "A" immediately below.
A. Non-exclusive One-off publication rights with both copyright and ownership still belonging to NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY.
B. Specially negotiated ownership rights with exclusivity guaranteed though copyright still remains with NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY.
C. Only in very exceptional circumstances will NICHOLAS STAVELEY STANLEY agree to relinquish copyright of an image.
If you wish to preview an image in high resolution, before purchasing, you will be forwarded an electronically "watermarked" image compressed as a jpeg.
The agreed payment for Images must be made in full, by cheque, when you place a firm order for an image.
- Images will then be supplied via email in high resolution and compressed as jpegs without watermark.
